Covid waste everywhere

We need to talk of unnecessary use of full body PPE for COVID. We now know that spread is primarily through air & contact spread is negligible. Can we now switch to reusable cloth gowns & focus on good masks. & immediately stop plastic gowns on flights. Biomedical waste needs urgent reduction. Everyone is throwing disposable surgical masks more

The PPE kits and other disposable items needs to be destroyed and it should not cause concern to the public. more

There are multiple aspects of the waste and the "protection" provided. It is widely established that virus is not not transmissible after the 10th day! Most serious admitted patients are past this period (since most admissions are in the second week of illness). The severe suffering and deaths are not because of virus but inflammatory and immune response. Despite this knowledge there has been no rational application of mind but a hyperbolic reaction. Had even written an article on "Dignifying the dead" - attached herewith. more

Fully agree. High time these plastic gowns are replaced with cloth gowns which can be reused after washing more

Yes ,we have to shift our attention towards this on a war footing.Otherwise all of us will get used to it. more
