In order to maintain monopoly, they never make the spares and accessories available in the open market. One has to approach the company itself to buy even a candle and they charge exorbitantly for it. Customer service is very poor. The only area where they are very strong is in marketing. They would visit your home and neighbourhood 100 times before selling the product. Once sold, they never come back to ensure service.

MAINTENANCE COST IS MORE

After sales service is practically non existent. I had to return a "Purit" filter thru Flipkart, because for one month I kept on following-up for the defective filter. But failed to get the service. Out of frustration I returned the product.

Purchased online in their site only and paid full money on November 1st. Even after promising delivery in 5 days, the product is not delivered so far (40 days and counting)...
Complained 5 times to the customer care. The only response I get is 'we will check with backend and you will receive a call with in one day'. Unfortunately that day never came.
Worst and pathetic.!
I'm now wondering if the product is delivered how it will perform :(
