We had heavy rains on Sunday night(Oct 04, 2015). Many houses in my area were very badly flooded. On contacting our newly elected corporator we had a very pleasant surprise. The corporator immediately came to our locality with her staff and arranged for workers to get the waterlogged area cleared. Next day very early in the morning she (corporator) arranged for a JCB and cleared huge mounds of mud and silt removed and made the area from from waterlogging. This was a big job and we witnessed the whole govt machinery working so efficiently. Really a wonderful job done by the corporation staff. All our sincere thanks from the residents of my area.

Despite the apathy of the public in some areas, BBMP is striving to maintain some hygiene. But it is we , the residents of city to be more responsible. Segregation. Spitting in public . disposing garbage on the street and at will. not creating awareness amongst children. trash on the streets. using more disposables than required. unwanted use of packing material. food waste. Let us learn and implement the basics of public hygiene. Then dictate to BBMP responsibly to do its share of task accomplishment.
