Road cleaning on service rd maybe once in a month

Munnekolala, Marathahalli: No regular road cleaning and sewage drains are full of garbage

(1) Road cleaning is not on daily basis. It happens twice a week on an average. (2) Door to door garbage collection happens twice or thrice a week. There is no orderly collection either of wet garbage or of dry garbage. So much so that they collect without distinguishing dry or wet garbage. Though there is no open demand for any payment, there is an implied expectation of payment. I think it is for us to lay down the rules. If all householders in a street would steadfastly refuse to pay, the expectation of payment will also subside over a period.

1) Road cleaning (sweeping) - once every 10-15 days 2) Garbage collection - 5 days a week, against payment. In the event of delays / no clearance of garbage - no recourse as one cannot reach the corporator or BBMP officials. I wonder if they know we exist, now that the next Municipal elections are years away ! Sharda Residency, BEML Hospital Road, G M Palya, Bengaluru 560075
