BBMP

Extremely poor in regularity, 3-4 times in a month, that too after repeated phone calls to the BBMP contractors. BBMP health inspector not willing to insist on the BBMP norms for garbage collection frequency. BBMP Sahay has not been much use in this regard.

We segregate the waste and hand over to the contracted workers. They dump together and we are confused totally whether these workers are well trained or not. BBMP claim on garbage collection arrangements are bogus and they are cheating themselves wasting tax payers money.

The person (employed by the contractor) who collects the garbage is very cordial and has patience to talk to civilized citizens to separate the garbage.
However, the next process steps of cleaning the entire city is not very good. The intermediate process steps & last mile clearing should be more efficient in clearing the garbage.
There should also be drive to remove usage of "Plastic" items completely in entire city.

Living in an apartment complex and near a vacant plot i see both the BBMP garbage pickup trucks and the citizen's carelessness ..
garbage collection trucks are very infrequent and when they do come to our complex its ~ 11:30 PM-2:00AM
