ICICI Bank

The ICICI Bank recourses to questionable processes to bleed customers. The country as a whole is trying to become cashless and encouraging net bank transactions. ICICI Bank is discouraging net banking by making it compulsory to have a debit card for which they charge a high annual fee. This is the only bank I know which wants to force a paid debit card for net banking transactions.
Services inside a branch is very poor. One need to spend a lot of time for a simple query or for submitting a form ,

ICICI Bank uses questionable practices levying service charges. For example, for net based transactions you need to have a secret number grid provided on the back of the card. Both ATM and Debit cards have this grid. If you visit a branch to get the card for the grid, they will advise you to apply for a debit card which has an annual fees. When I specifically asked for ATM card (which has no annual fees), they said that ICICI Bank does not issue such cards. I later on found after prolonged exchange of emails that the bank does issue ATM cards, free of service charge.

The bank is good at luring gullible public to bank with them. But they are very poor in cooping with the service.

I do not find icici bank transparent, Bank is only interested in traping customers into their various schemes. Many times customers are not informed.

On the question of transparency the bank is excellent, but when it comes to support the quality of people is deplorable
