Keep up the good work.
This ministry is practical non functional over the arbitrary fares charged by the Airlines. Charging higher fares on less seat availability is possible but the quantum has to be reasonable. In my opinion the airlines may charge higher fares to compensate the discount offered on opening of the booking but charging higher fares to make super profit is absolutely wrong. This gives signal that government is pro rich.
Ministry of Civil Aviation and DGCA are sleeping over the excessive airfare charged by even low cost, no frills INDIGO, even for greater than 90 days advance bookings. INDIGO charges are at several instances more than charges by full service airlines. This is unacceptable.
In the era of digital India INDIGO fleeces customers by charging Rs 75 for each sector for net banking mode of payment and Rs 150 for each sector for debit/credit card mode of payment. Then again, at the time of web check in, you chose window or aisle seat, over and above the preferred seat charges payment mode charges has to be made.
Safety in aviation is very critical in these days of terrorism. Till now our country has done a good job. I hope they continue to do so in the future. I do not mind paying a little extra to ensure we have manpower to screen terrorists and bombs
The civil aviation is in a good shape in our country except the loot the air lines made at the high time this is wrong in any society, the rates should be made reasonable so that people may think of travelling all around the year and they should not allow to loot the passangeres in the time of emergency or festivals
