Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has failed to restrict on the misleading advertisement even in those cases where the ads are violating the regulations. As an example the regulations states doctors cannot endorse any product. One can see the advertisement of Sensodyne and Colgate which are advertising by getting their products endorsed by Doctors.

Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has failed to address the menace of misleading advertisements, sponsored programmes , the advertisement duration in the content in the entertainment programmes, news, no code of conduct for even enkars shouting on the debates with bad language etc.

Policy frame work has to be made and implemented where live telecast of terrorist activities are not telecast-ed/broadcast-ed live.
All stake holders should be consulted for such policy frame work.
