NAGERCOIL JUNCTION (NCJ)

For better rating Nagercoil station should be kept under the jurisdiction of Madurai Division instead of the present Trivandrum division. Being in other state,the station is neglected in all aspects.

One of the station started in 1979 and inaugurated by the then PM and travelled in the train from Trivandrum to Kanyakumari by the then Railway minister has not developed much till date even though lot of trains are running on both side on Trivandrum side and on the Trinelveli side. the station does not have no elevator and no electronic bogie dispalay. Even though new traminal was announced in the budget no headway has been done. All due to my doubt is the section is in Tamilnadu and attached to a division in Kerala which is the capital city of the state. so it is obvious the concentration by the division will be on Tivandrum. The RM must involve directly and do the needful including the union minister from the constituency.
