Rating a station based on ponts score.
1.Safety of passengers with restricted entry, Rest rooms , weighting hall., drinking water, lighting , powerbackup..........3points.
2. Cleanliness and good waste disposal system, Hygen food items,security help, call facility......3 points
3. Communication and train timings display, booking counters, safety lockers..........2 points.
4.Areas clear of beggers, unauthorised persons, Animals , wet or damaged floors, scrap and waste materials........2 points.
Every station need review for rating of class A , B, and C Type stations.

i am from andhra pardesh. most of our small/ rural stations have not yet got well facilities like drinking water (Suggestion: The SM put a 20 ltr can at his office to sevrve common poor people),sanitation etc. in some coaches wash rooms are not maintained properly

Drinking in trains inconveniences co passengers. The cleanliness of platforms and trains need to be improved considerably. The cleaners sweep the platform and push the waste on the tracks which should be collected and disposed of properly. Passengers litter freely and should be educated rather fined for that if found . The beggar menace to be controlled. All trains to indicate the next destination inside coach for passengers alighting. Porters are fleecing especially senior citizens and the free trolley use need to be introduced. The porters prevent free trolley use by their own way as the passengers are new to the station and the porters are permanent in the station. The ticket issuing machines are to be made available more and in convenient locations. Mobile vendors selling eatables throw waste on platform and on tracks need to be controlled to collect waste and dispose of in organised way. The stairs are steep and special facilities for senior citizens to be introduced freely and advertised for all to know and use properly. If it involves personnel to help senior citizens then the personnel should be courteous and should not seek money from passenger senior citizen. Waste collecting containers are to be placed at vantage points and information circulated to throw waste only on them.
