It is too early to rate Modi as the Prime Minister of the country though some innovative ideas have been set into action. The creation of Local Circles to involve and allow the citizens to fearlessly express/record their grievances/disagreements with the government's policies and share their ideas to bring desired improvements in various social burning issues have already started paving ways, though slowly, to meet the challenges and deliver most desired results.
Prior to Modi had any of us ever come across of any of our PMs expressing concern about 'Swachch Bharat' (clean India),'Make Railways Better', 'Fight Corruptions Together', 'Jago Grahak Jago' and so on ? And we can today happily notice that the concerned machinery have started moving towards action and positive results are visible.
But as a Prime Minister of the nation, Modi has unending uphill tasks to look into, take action and ensure positive results. He has to ensure that India being the big brother behave in the desired manner with its neighbouring nations instead of behaving like a boss. The recent instant is Nepal, which has always been one of our most trusted ally since long and India can't afford to lose its friendship and we should extend all our helping hands to bring it out from economical disarray overlooking any political & ideological differences.
It is time now for the Prime Minister to spend more time in the country and exercise control over the members of his council of ministers, as some of them often cross all limits while speak in public putting the government into embarrassing situation and damaging its credibility. Damage control mechanism does have little effect over self tarnished images.
Another important aspect is that as a Prime Minister, Mr. Modi should come out openly and speak out publicly about his and his government's policy over various burning & disputed issues. Since last 17 months (since his taken over as the PM) a feeling is growing up in the minds of the common men he concur with the disputed views & opinions of his several ministers and to avoid further disputes, following the policy of keeping silent like our previous PM Manmohan Singh, who never felt it necessary to speak even against any of the big scams perpetrated by his ministers.

Shri Narendra Modi on becoming the PM of the country had raised lot of hope in the minds of majority of Indians and many of his lines of action were in the right direction conforming to his visions and as per the nation's need and people's espectation. But the country men are still in wait to see the good results.
Mr. Modi's prolonged silence over various issues & controversies came up in recent past didn't match his state forwardness and pragmatism and immensely disappointed his followers. In future, under any such circumstances, he should immediately come forward to explain the correct position before the common men refuting all allegations of the oppositions.
During recent Bihar election campaign, some of Modi's comments were objectionable and unbecoming of the Prime minister. In future he should be much careful in delivering his speeches and accusing the opposition leaders.
During last 18 months, the Prime Minister has performed numerous tours of foreign countries. He should now concentrate in home works suspending all foreign tours at least for 6 to 9 months making the period of coming 18 months a target for bringing the promised 'Achche Din' and 'Sabke Sath Sabke Vikash'. Meanwhile I rate Modi's performance till now as 'Average'.
