Did not need much cash and so was not inconvenienced as many others. Was able to deposit and withdraw on the first day itself with relative ease. Did not have to depend on my bank only as there are other ATMs around. The ATM at SBT (as was the case of all major banks) was closed for most of the time. Shortage of 100 rupee notes and non-availability of 500 rupee notes was/is the major problem.

On 11th Friday we went to SBT Kandivli West at 9.00a.m. Fortunately there was no rush and hence we finished transaction within 1hr. But sad news is that we got only a 2000 rupee note which we found there is no use in our day to day expenses. All ATM was closed and the Branch Manager was struggling to convince the customers deaf ears.

Yes let's wait we can do transaction through cards.. Next year will be excellent we will go cashless
