Tata Sky

The rates of TATA SKY are very high. Plus they don't feature all the channels that the other service providers are giving. They give a lot of other language channels which are useless for many of the subscribers like for Hindi / English speaking people why they provide Oriya or Bengali or Tamil etc channels.

I personnaly feel that Tata Sky is good and clear. Had a bit of a problem with helpline for sometime which got resolved positively with persistance and follow up.

Package rate is very high. For every separate category, for eg sports, English movies, cartoons, etc., we need to buy separate package by paying extra amount. Why not create at least one such package in which there is a right mix of channels?? Currently so many channels are there which we cannot watch either because they are in another language, or due to their content. I don't see any point in renewing the subscription as well. Besides customer service has deteriorated.

Regardless of their Bandwagon, the Picture Quality is the "Most Pixelated" of all DTH Service Providers. Do not hosts International Channels such as Russia Today, NHK World, France 24, CCTV on its platform. Many of the DD Channels are offered only in the format of "Minimized Screen"!

Very much disturbances in the signal. Rates too high. I started with 200 for base pack, gradually it has become 300. And the number of channels also is reduced. Service is satisfactory. Overall it's an average.
