I retired as DGM from ONGC Dehradun . I was getting my EPS Pension (From age 58 yrs ) from SBI, IPE Dehradun through EPFO Dehradun. After retirement I wrote EPFO Dehradun to transfer the Pension to Vadodara, where I am finally settled now after retirement,with all the details (PPO, Old A/C where I was getting Pension and New A/c at Vadodara SBI where I want the Pension etc ). EPFO Dehradun informed me via their letter dated 31.8.16 that it will be done but No information after that letter. They have stopped my Pension immediately . Pl suggest ,What I should do.

You have to pursue with EPFO Dehradun. Same time you can pursue through local RPFC Bombay. more

hi Moral of the story is that we must not expect changes specially in EPFO organization. You should have continued your pension in dehradun and used electronic transfer to Vadodra. Nw only option for you is to meet EPFO in Vadodra along with all documentation and request for its transfer. The only good aspect is that you will not loose money you will get all the pending payments. But the agony still persisits . Good luck in your endeavour. more

Why did you not operate your SBI Dehra Dun Branch pension account for some time and later on arrange to transfer the account as needed? As they are all connected you could have operated your account from Vadodara. Also you could have merely given standing instructions to SBI Dehra Dun Branch to transfer your pension amount every month to a joint SB account at Vadodara Branch with your spouse and/or Children.
