My son was working in a IT firm for last three years.Now he has resigned and is doing MBA.After completing MBA in next 2 years he may join another firm.
Should he withdraw PF from his old company or it would be automatically continued in his new organization two years later? more

You can withdraw it fill 15G/ 15H form to safe yourself from TDS deduction. However even if TDS is deducted, you can claim for refund in ITR filing more  
Apply UAN for EPF account if not applied. Better not to withdraw money. more  
Better not to withdraw. As he has not completed 5 years of employment either continuously or in part, the withdrawal is subject to tax as per the slab. After completion of MBA hopefully he may be employed. In such case the same PF account may be continued by giving full particulars to the new employer. During such time, the PF balance continues to earn interest which is a good return now. more  
Dr.Mr.Singh If  your Son is joining for a Job in future, please collect the complete details about EPF account from the present employer and produce the same to the new employer then the existing account can be continued. Please make a detailed enquiry about this with the concerned EPF office.
