Good Governance and better coordination between Punjab and Delhi would no doubt go a long way in ensuring Pollution Control by encouraging farmers to adopt stubble waste composition. I hope BJP doesn't play dirty politics of putting a Governor there too to shoot down Punjab CM's development proposals just as they are doing in Delhi. more

Stubble burning is not a burning issue in Punjab, yes it may be in Delhi to some extent. For the New Govt. in Punjab, Drug addiction and unemployed youth would be of high priority, issue of stubble burning would be a low priority that may be taken up only when funds would be available. On the eve of Delhi election this issue may be discussed. more
