Covishield vaccination in Primary Health entres, Coimbatore
Thudiyalur Urban Primary health center, Coimbatore 641034 is one of the units assigned the task of vaccinating eligible persons against Covid 19. Though it is said that vaccination can be done only after registration as per the Covid portal, in this government Hospital Covid jab, is given collecting Aadhar copies /id proof promising that the documentation/registration, etc will be done at backend. Believing it a group of people from our locality got the first jab on 03.03.21. As no SMS message was received even after 3 weeks we enquired at the center and we were told that due to server crash 03.03.21on entries could not be made and so the rectification would be done during the second jab. Accordingly, we got the second jab on 07.04.21 . Till 15.04.21 again there was no SMS communication. When contacted, the chief Doctor in charge repeated the same story and told us that entries dated 07.04.21 are being made on 15.04.21 and we would soon get the SMS /confirmation of vaccination. On verification, it is found that uploading data was not being done on daily basis in this center and a lot of contradictory statements are while explaining away the blatant errors. To date, the portal shows that we are not vaccinated though we have completed 2 doses. Well informed in this area may please share solutions. Will the Ministry of Health will look into the matter urgently. more

Even in Chennai , this happens.. There is nothing wrong with the system. In the Ultimate analysis, it is the Human error, that flops the system. It happened to us, in the Kundrathur PHC, Conjeevaram Dist, P.C.600069 more

I remember some 25 years back when it comes to the certificate distribution for student selected for Engineering Admissions after it is put up in the notice board . The staff from concerned departmen comes with Certificates bunched in his hands to the group of students. Students rush to get the certificates. But the person demands money , it was Rs. 10 K. Ihope this practice hasnt crept n now . more

1.Yes complaints made to CPGRAMS as there are hundreds of such sufferers. The daily count reported in this center is 150 per day. So at least to my knowledge, 600 persons are inferred to stand deprived of the certificate despite completing 2 doses, according to the Statements made as excuses. 2.Unless the vaccination entries are made from the PHC Arokiya Sethu will not show the status as vaccinated.SO without entries made downloading the certificate is not possible. 3.Yes the story is put in FAcebook too. 4.The email sent to Health Secretary is returned undelivered as always with most of the TN Govt. portals. 4.Thanks to all for the valuable suggestions. more

If you haven't tried Aarogya Setu app for certificate download yet, please try it. You can download COVID Vaccination certificate from Aarogya Setu app. You have to click on CoWIN tab and tap on Vaccination certificate option, Enter your Beneficiary (recipient) reference id (this is provided at the time of vaccination registration). Tap on Get certification icon and this will take you to download certificate option You can download the certificate in PDF form. Note: Even for the 1st dose a provisional certificate is issued with details of second dose date, etc. If you are unable to get your certificate thru Aarogya Setu app, then as suggested by few members in this circle, raise a complaint. more
