Currently have two UAN

Dear Sir,

I have been given a new UAN account by my current employer despite already having a UAN, that was given by my previous employer.Due to an syntactical issue,my current employer was compelled to provide me with a new UAN.

Now I am in fix, I am not able to activate my new UAN since it is throwing error message that mobile number is already registered.

Could you please help in this regard and let me know how do I deactivate the previous UAN and merge the previous UAN details with new one. more

Try to approach your EPFO and detail about your UAN accounts in writing with a copy to your employer. EPFO will direct your employer. more

Cheers to all you people who have commented. Really appreciate for your time. Back to issue at hand. I am already done with my transferring of EPF thru the OTPC portal. Since so many people here suggested, I tried it again and website threw this message -- "Current Status :Your claim has been settled and credited to new account." So, as per portal I cannot do the same thing again. I am really afraid now. Pls help in what needs to be done. I have also emailed/posted in epfindia.gov.in helpdesk explaining my situation four days back but still waiting to get a response. more

Please apply for EPF transfer through OTCP portal and once account transfer is completed, old UAN number gets automatically cancelled and your mobile number will be released to activate new UAN. Post which you can activate new UAN. www.swiftbusinesssolutions.co.in. 9845114411 more
