Delhi airport needs to connect T2 & T3

T2 in Delhi airport was opened in 2014. Almost 8 years later there is still no shuttle between the two terminals.
What's the point in talking sustainability/environment, when people have to take private transport to get from one terminal to another within same airport.

Why not lease a few electric buses ? This is capital of India and u want people to rely on app taxis and kali pili to make a connection 😡😡 more

I agree with her. In the case of Singapore's Changi airport, based on whose design the T3 appears as having been designed, which similarly has 3 terminals, there is an interconnecting complimentary ride facility by skytrain, an electric traction automated people mover. Indeed that would improve sustainability, balancing flights environmental impact. more
Old persons are given wheel chair assistance. Airport or Airlines staff help. But additions like battery operated facility would be helpful. Google map shows a bus stop on T2 area and may be for the inter terminal transfer coach. more
Ms. Dipali....Nexus of Kali-Peeli Taxi is so strong that they might not allow the Airport Operator to start such service. more
To my knowledge T3 & T2 terminals are interconnected from outside, walkable distance and shuttle is available from both to T1. From google- 'Delhi Airport provides a complimentary shuttle bus service for passengers, every 20 minutes between both the domestic and international terminals. If you happen to miss your connecting flight, don't panic. Contact the Airline staff present at the departure level in all terminals for guidance.' more
Yes...there is a walkable way from T2 to T3 and vice versa. There are certain pax who are old enough to walk even that distance. Dipali has suggested correctly for battery-operated buses may be on nominal charges. more
Atleast in Delhi, that too on airports, people should not bother to arrange a taxi for reshuffle terminal to terminal. Either frequent metro or buses should be available though passengers can be charged the decent fare. more
