I had prepared myself to fight indoor pollution this year & invested in lots of plants which are easy to maintain & grow rapidly in small pots-money plant, song of India etc besides palms, snake plants... My experiment has gone awry. Indoor pollution in my flat is sort of same as outtdoor pollution. Maybe there is lots of dust collected on the leaves which cannot breathe out fresh Oxygen Grow more trees outside & small plants inside homes & make sure to keep leaves neat & shiny. My observation is that Plants do Feel the effects of pollution because their growth is not as rapid as it was about 30 years ago. Ultimately We get dependant upon machines to purify indoor pollution to breathe better & to remain confined to the room-windows & doors closed to avoid hospitalization due to respiratory & cardiac diseases. Remember that low levels of Oxygen in circulating blood does trigger a heart attack. more
Pollution, Doctors say cause brain damage, but it has already damaged the brains of persons supposed to deal with the problem. How can undeveloped/damaged brains could deal with the persisting problem. more
The real villains of pollution in the NCR is not bursting of crackers. Burning of parali in Punjab, Haryana is contributing nearly 40%, construction work 30%, factories, motor etc 20%+ while crackers only a measly 6%. So let us identify the real villains to abuse. Abrahamics have found an easy target among Hindu festivals to abuse. more
No wonder as said by Justice Kathju (retd.), "We are a nation of Fools". more
Kejriwal is not bothered at all. He has enough money from the public of Delhi to spend on TV advertisements. He gets votes, so why should be bother more? more
