EPF withdrawal

Hi
I have one question and seek your help in getting this information. I left my job in India 2.5 years back and now staying abroad since then. I withdrew my EPF during this March 2016. I had filled in the relevant form choosing the option of TDS by EPFO. When I compare the amount credited to my account by EPFO to the amount in my EPF passbook I see that 10%tds has been deducted by EPFO -- which is valid and fair. My question is that how do I get form 16 and TDS certificate for this income from EPFO and the corresponding tax deduction?

Tax deducted by EPFO will be reflected in Form 26AS. You may go to IT website and Log in. Thereafter you see menu "My account" and view Form 26AS credit. File IT return on line and you will get TDS credit in your account if you do not have any other taxable income in India. J.N.Thakkar C.A. more
Form 16 or 16A, as the case may be, has to be compulsory given to the persons from whom TDS has been deducted and he has mentioned PAN number. TDS will be reflected in AS 26 as soon as the deduct-or file Annual Return through on line in Income Tax side. After this TDS Certificate will be generated by deductor and send to persons. more
What if it does not reflect in Form 26AS? more
