Geo-tagging - MCD app half-baked

I have been using my email ID for logging into the MCD portal but the new app which is required for adding geo-tagging information does not have the email option. One can only log in using one's registered mobile number. There is also no option on the portal to change the log-in ID from email ID to mobile no. Have I missed something or is it a typical half-baked government work? more

https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/city/delhi/geotagging-must-for-property-tax-relief/articleshow/105768002.cms It is a streamlining process. more
You need to login to your account using email id and password and opt for 'Transfer of UPIC ' to a new mobile number which you have not used in MCD app and website. You will get a reference number, which can be required for further follow up. Your Upic will be transferred to the new mobile number which you have requested, which can used to complete the geo-tagging process. While going for upic transfer, you will need to upload your photo id and property papers more
Don't worry. The app is just like all government apps half baked & released in a hurry using poor user as a guinea pig. Delhi property tax payer is basically doing the work that is supposed to be done by the lazy workers of MCD itself. more
Lazy or extremely busy with their 'extra-curricular' agendas! more
And geo- tagging is next to impossible on MCD app on i-phones. Tried umpteen number of times but failed. Brought it to the knowledge of MCD staff about a month back, but no solution till date more
One needs to have Mobile to take photograph of the property for Geo-tagging and then upload onto Portal against respective UPIC Number. For authentication OTP will also be received on registered mobile pertaining to UPIC No. So one should map UPIC with mobile to execute the same. To me, it seems registered mobile number is mandatory. more
