Great move By CM

TamilNadu will constitute an economic advisory council to CM Stalin with Nobel laureate Esther Dufflo, former RBI governor Raghuram Rajan, former chief economic advisor to GoI Arvind Subramanian, development economist Jean Dreze and former union finance secretary S Narayan.

The decision of CM is a good move and practical approach is important. Freebies in the name of coop and political interference are to be stopped. Swarna Jyanthi yojana, mahatma gandhi National Rural Employment scheme etc are unproductive expenses of public money. In this country Amul co-op model is only a successful one. If not co-op corporate model is the best option. This will benefit the stake holders and share holders more
The main thing is that these leaders must stop freebies , wavering of farm loans just like that , If these things are there , these experts cant do any miracle . If these things are avoided , then there is no need for any special & highly qualified expert to tackle the economy . In fact a normal finance minister with common sense can work out well to take state to pinnacle of successful economy . more
Good move. Let us wait for the outcome. more
Appears to be a very good move for the state's development. Though surprising to some extent, Stalin has done a wonderful job here, listening to someone who would have advised him. We hope that the group coordinates well for good results. more
Progressive thinking and paving the way for developement at the State level first. more
