All private hospitals,immediately on entry, they first enquire whether cashlessbor cash payment. If cashless,hospital staff knows what should be the treatement and its expense. Without even commencing treatement, they pass an estimated expense, which would be several lacks more than the insurance mediclaim amount. Hospitals next excuse would be waiting for approval, and deposit minimum ( Rs.5.00 lack), only then, treatment could be started. Hospital staff create such an emergency and give the relatives minimum duration to see that they ( relatives) deposits the required amount. There is no cap for different treatements and patients are forced to make settle hospital bills. Government should have an corruption free agency to verify, scrutinize all such bills , at the time of admission and settlement of bills. more

covid patients have been harassed by private hospitals during these trying times, by not accepting CASHLESS insurance and demanding only cash or card payment while admission, which amounts to ransom and the state government has been a mute witness of this daylight robbery by corporate hospitals, private hospitals, who have been awarded covid admission only status, which is another scam , during these covid times, where people have lost their lives, for lack of proper treatment, financial difficulties for hospital admission et al.. more
