House Tax web site of Delhi Municipal Corporation not working
It is observed House Tax web site of Delhi Municipal Corporation is not working. If we put our Mobile Number for login number of time OTP is not generated. If some time OTP is generated we can not find our property by writing UPIC number. It is requested that concerned authorities look in to this problem if they want the residents of Delhi pay House Tax through their web site. more

Needless to say that Indian governmental sites are tricky !! We were able to pay our property tax to SDMC Delhi with the friendly support of a very helpful young lady Ms Nidhi (011-26196800) who works for the local area magazine SAMVADA: Log on to mcdonline.nic.in Click on ONLINE SERVICES (top right) Third block is for Property Tax; Click on Taxpayer Login (not on property tax) Enter your registered mobile phone number ASK for OTP (you've got to ask for it, strangely!) Enter OTP and submit... The pre-filled property details appear on the screen. CHECK DETAILS AND SPECIALLY YEAR OF PAYMENT, edit if necessary Click on ACTION Click on Pay Tax Check box for "I agree", if it appears Proceed to Pay There appear three options, choose whichever applicable for you. For us it was Debit Card from Kotak.....(no mention of Kotakbank made anywhere) So, we clicked on AXIS BANK Thereafter you choose Visacard or Mastercard as may apply Fill in Debit Card details including the CVV You'll receive OTP on the registered mobile phone number Enter OTP and submit Next window says: Payment Successful WHAT A RELIEF....... One last word: Last year we tried at least twenty times to pay the property tax, didn't succeed. By following the above guidelines we were able to pay even last years dues, a higher amount naturally, because they had added late payment penalty and interest etc. Hope, this helps!! Not this site only ,other Delhi govt sites are also misbehaving. IT deptt of Delhi govt must work hard and programme them properly ,all sites should be friendly which they are not.It looks after making site no one check the working. more

New Website of SDMC to deposit House Tax is so difficult. Do not understand why not allow to deposit with old system which is much easier and people friendly more

Most of the Govt. Site does not work properly, I don't know why the concerned officials not do not perform their duties honesty inspite of this negligence they got the handsome salery and other benefits. This the main cause of privatisation. more
