I received my scheme certificate from EPFO long ago. Now i am past 58. I am told i can get pension. My previous employer has sold the company to another group who are not willing to sign any PF form. Please let me know which form i should submit. more
If you have Scheme Certificate then there is no need to approach the employer, they got nothing to do with it. You just follow the guidelines provided here by Mr. Harichand Singhal, that is the correct way out. If there is no response then contact the your respective area EPF Commissioner directly, I am sure you will get through, there is no doubt. more
You have to fill the form 10D in duplicate and submit alongwith scheme certificate in original duly attested by your banker where you want the pension. please take the acknowledgement from the RPFC. Your employer even if the company has been sold to new owner (having same registration number), cannot refuse to sign the form. The complaint could be made in writing to the employer company with a copy to EPFO. All such documentation be complied with registered post. As far as time is concerned, you wont be financially affected as you will get pension form the month you completed 58 years and even if it takes 5 years, you will be paid arrears. more
You will be required to surrender your certificate to EPFO along with application form for fixing your pension. The form may be got signed by the Manager of your Bank in which you plan the pension to be disbursed to you. It is not a difficult process provided you submit your application along with the requisite documents including copy of Aadhar card. If everything is ok you can expect pension order within 30 days. more
