How to know changed PF Number
I got my 6 years back closed pPF number however now the PF number format has been changed. Is there Ny way to find new PF number. My previous employeer(CMS INFOSYSTEM) not responding me back. My PF number looks like MH2120XXXXXX. more

When you have closed PF, do not know the purpose of getting the number in the absence of your current nature of employment. Contact PF office where previous company was depositing employees PF who would be in a position to provide account No. based on name, address of company, your date of joining etc more

Hi Kunal, The one you mentioned, MH2120XXX is old format. New PF A/c number format is like this AreaCode/RegionalPFOfficeCode/CompanyPFnumber/your pf account number. Example: TN/MAS/0054055/000/0000250 explanation: TN = 2 characters Regional Office code (Tamilnadu Region) MAS = 3 charachters Regional Office / Subregional Office code (Chennai Office) 0054055 = 7 digit Establishment PF registration Number called Establishment Code. 000 = Any extension assigned to establishment (Earlier it would have been "A", "B", "C" etc now 00A 00B 00C or 000 (three zero) if blank) 0000250 = 7 digit Member's Account number in establishment. * In payslip from that company PF details will be mentioned.
