Lockdown extended per LocalCircles survey

but only for 1 week. The Govt keeps proving that they work on tactical basis as strategic and planned approach is not their cup of tea. While there is progress on cases we still need 3 weeks of Lockdown after May 17

Lockdown extended per LocalCircles surveybut only for 1 week. What kind of state governance is this that needs people's majority vote in arriving at a decision! Strategic thinking, and acting considering the need for livelihoods too must be factored in! IF anyone has played the boardgame Ludo, that would explain the government's position. What was needed may be learnt from the game of chess, where one looks for creating openings, - calibrated opening up, rather than closings! Lockdown being one such closing. Chess analogy again, Last year the government brandished victory beforehand, citing the pawns' safety! Death now stalking rampantly. Now massive aid coming from world over that we depend so heavily on. Positivity good but one must also acknowledge reality even if negative. That acknowledgement saves. Unlike the local bhakts, internationally India's image will take a beating. more
Lockdown has given boost to medical blackmarketers ,public not getting any help .Ultimately sufferer is public .Seema Mehra think you also cannot stop anti activities of traders except support to extend lockdown. Lockdown is acceptable only when all work in positive direction. more
A strict lockdown till 31 May will be enough to flatten the peak & after then demand negative RT-PCR report & impose 15 day quarantine/ home isolation restriction for everyone entering Delhi from any state/ country. more
Good to hear the extension. Keep it up Seema. I look forward to your updates. more
Dear Seema, Just to avoid panic they are extending the lockdown week by week. Their is no option in front of govt other than to extend lockdown until 15th jun. more
