Maama did this kind of nonsense for personal gain for decades. Now its the bhaanjaas turn. The beti is waiting in the wings to do her part as well. Personal ambition and greed usurps all standards, ethics, values and integrity. Upright people are objects of ridicule it seems while shameless thick-skinned people rule the roost. But this is what the 'public' wants and deserves, isnt it? more

This is with every political party in India across the states, only the degree varies. Politicians are greedy for money and amaze wealth by whatever means. But people don't understand & vote for them. Absolute power corrupts. There is no ethic in politics. Today party X & Y will join hands and the next moment break and some time down the line, they join hands together again. Again, it is the tendency of the opposition to go against the ruling dispensation if it runs meritorious, just for the sake of opposition. Fine example is UCC which is opposed by majority of opposition. more
