Sir i hv made three attempts to transfer my pf but couldn't transfer because the previous company has merged with an MNC OEM. Can i withdraw my pf amount, if yes then pl share process and forms to fill. more

Hello Anil A: based on your Sept 22 post I have a question. I have PF from an old organization that I have not withdrawn or transferred to the new one. In this present org there was a new UAN number allocated. The old UAN number (i am told) is being merged with the new one. I am told by the PF consultant that once this process is complete I can withdraw the PF amount that was accumulated from the former employer. Is this possible or is it a misinformation? If it is a misinformation, how do I go about it once the accounts are merged? more

Dear Manoj Mongiaji, Old PF numbers are not automatically merged with the new UAN number. It is supposed to be done by the EPFO based on KYC. You can reach out to them by raising a grievance or do the linking yourself on http://epfigms.gov.in/ or http://uanmembers.epfoservices.in/ more
