Retaining EPF

I read in paper that government would continue to pay interest on EPF even after it becomes dormant. Is it wise to keep the money parked in EPF for long after quitting the job? more

Dear Sir, My suggestion is if not urgently required please do keep that money for a long period. Or you may take the opinion of other members also. more

In any event unless you are 58 y/0 you cannot withdraw the employer's contribution. If you take a yearly printout of the accumulated amount and interest-- it should be ok. btw my account will be in this "interest but no contribution" mode for the next six years. more
