The problem of crime against women and juvenile essentially manifests the total abdication of responsibility by the parents respecting grooming of their kids. Like under the MV Act when a minor driving a vehicle causes accident the owner of the vehicle is made a co-accused to face criminal and civil proceedings, we should think seriously of arraigning the parents for the crimes committed by their wards against women and juvenile. Thus every incident of sexual assault shall rope in the parents as well as accused to face criminal proceedings. It may look very harsh. But under the current shocking state of affairs regarding lack of morality and ethics in individual conduct, we have no option but to implement such equally harsh measures. more
