Unable to Get my PF amount

I was working with a Private firm until 2012.The present UAN was not in vogue then.Last year I filled up the relevant forms -to get my pf proceeds-and my (ex) employer has forwarded them to the PF regional office,Hyderabad.so far I have not received the refund.My employer says they have forwarded the papers and they could not do anything beyond this.Am living at chennai and the RO at chennai tells me that I have to approach the RO Hyderabad.Due to my age am unable to travel.can anyone in this forum help me here? Thanks in advance

Opening the grievance is the only way. While thongs are better now but once a case gets stuck, its needs a lot of followup. Because of time line to resolve cases in 21 days, officers give some reason and and reject cases just to ensure that nothing is kept pending against their name and therefore u may have to open grievance multiple times. My pension is stuck, its 18 months and i am still hoping for a solution, but not given up. more

Shishir first register a grievence online. You get the name of officer handeling. Start emailing him with reminder. He wont reply in time. After 5 - 6 reminder mail. Send it to pmo office cc to pf email. Reply and action in 2-4 hrs. For detail email me at epf_issues@yahoo.com more
