Unsubscribing English Dailies

The Delhi english news papers have lately become useless for our household with rarely any citizen centric news. We are discontinuing both times of India and hindustan times and getting navbharat times and hindustan. We realised this after subscribing to these 2 hindi news papers for a month.

If you are a hindi reader, do that for a month. You will move away from these elitist newspapers.

Love to get everyone’s inputs more

The Lady may be right. TOI is for elitist only. If you see the columns: Shobha De, Twinkle Khanna & Others are preferred. Even your mails (now restricted only to Sunday) will have to vie with several to make it to print. Local News is also distorted. The TOI Journalists are Arm-Chair journalist who have no ear to the ground and print the pieces thrown to them by ministries (whether Center or AAP). Ground reality is evident in misinformation of DTC affairs by TOI which is far from reality. So you can give TOI a miss. more

Navbharat Times is the Hindi version of TOI, and Hindustan is the Hindi version of HT. I doubt if there could be any change in the news except the change of language. Even then I will find it out. more
