Why KYC is not updated?
EPF website (unifiedportal.epfindia.gov.in) wants employees having UAN to upload KYC documents. Even after months they are not getting approved. When I went to PF office to submit Form 19, they told me to wait till KYC documents are approved. They can be approved only if the PF staff verify the KYC documents!
It's a pity we have to go round and round in circles to get our own money. more

whether the EPF is ment for to help the workers or harass. The minister of Labour says that EPF is ment for welfare of workers then EPF organisation should be over-hauled and present in new form with sort out the prombelms like bunching of differrnt PF A/cs and training the employer HR staff for complleting PF formalities while joing and leaving company as well as transfaring PF a.c and also the computer systems should be throughly up-dated. more

The govt. servants don't understand that its not their money (PF accumulation)......we can't change the attitude as there are issues like reservation, etc.......it needs to be privatized.....many companies deal with them through agents to make the payoffs & its known to everybody....I have taken legal help to deal with them....they should use KYC already available with Bank or NSDL.....Regards On Wed, 03 May 2017 09:49:27 +0530 "Mohan Krishna" wrote > more

KYC has become a very convenient tool for Banks, several brokers, SEBI, EPF, etc. to take customers to ride and harass them and enjoy customers money.Court is also silent observer. PAN Card and Aadhar Card should be sufficient. more
