Why no penalty an dprosecution for govt

Now our IT portal has become sick being suffering babu virus or extortion virus. McA site never works on last days and people have to pay penalties for mistakes of govt. Now professionals are wasting their invaluable times and energy on new portal with no result. Why govt is not penalised and prosecuted for not making available web site in time and wasting peopels money and time. If assessee can be prosecuted for late filing why govt cannot be prosecuted. India will never improve unless sc penalises govy and launch prosecution agaisnt babus and forfeit their pension. All penalties and prosecutions are meant for poor people only. I feel Sc will dare to listen voice of the public and will order to pay damages and prosecute entire gang of babus. Bausa cannot have absolute immunity and if they claim, it has to be challenged. Indians are not filth grade cityzens to be treated like slaves by Govt and its extortionist gang of criminal babus. more

Why blame Govt. for the job that was done by a well established private firm. Govt. has already accepted the short coming in the ITR website and is trying to rectify that. As against the above our nationalized banks like SBI, PNB are most irresponsible, careless people who don’t hesitate to manipulate the accounts of its customer. Complaints made to them are perhaps thrown in the dustbins. Live aside acting on the complaints, the so called big banks even do not show curtsey to acknowledge the complaint. The following facts are indicative of banks working. (1) SBI has asked many of its old customers (over a decade old) to refill the accounts opening forms without giving reason or tendering an apology. (2) For the FY 2000-21 interest certificates issued by the banks do not match with the account holders’ account. (3) In a case that came to my notice, Bank had sent a message to its account holder about the dispatch of a new debit card to him but it is not received by the account holder even after 15-20 days of dispatch. Complaint about the non- delivery is not even acknowledged or indicates action being taken. I wonder if such lapses on the part of the banks are being taken note of by the supervisory staff or are ignored to facilitate scams. Just a few days back Debit/Credit cards scam had surfaced. It was in the news paper but what happened thereafter only God knows. more
I agree with Mr. Arora. If the PSU banks are not working with accountability and responsibility, Govt. has to take the blame. My experience is that Banking Ombudsman have soft corner for the banks and not for the small account holders. It hardly takes any punitive action against the banks inefficiency or poor service. more
So far as the people are concerned, they will blame the government only and this is correct. The government has it's contract with the private firm and it must be taking appropriate action under the terms and conditions of the contract. more
I support Mr. Subhash Parakh. The current situation can not continue, penalties and compensation system are required. Govt Grievance system is awesome in negative sense. For each department - there must be a complaint email and contact phone number - but, they are either afraid or do not want to bother. Consumer protection act should be applied on the Babus too. more
What is the point in penalizing govt? They will pay the penalty with tax payers' money. Instead, make the company which is doing the work pay for the damage and freeze the assets if the officials and politicians involved. more
Citizens complaints are not given a chance to be lodged.Writing to our accessible PM is a night mare.I never got a reply to my suggestions. Government officers neither acknowledge nor respond to citizen queries, and the citizen has no where to go to lodge a valid complaint about mis-governance by the state.SC should open a portal for lodging complaints so that government can be directed to reply to citizens.I get definite response from American government but Indian Government with its IAS Kings do not consider it fit to reply to citizen queries. more
