Wrong details uploaded by Employer to EFP Account
I am having 2-UAN and as result i now have 2-PF acoounts where errors are there in my second UAN.
My problem now is that my current employer had updated wrong PAN number & Splelling mistakes while sharing data to EPF office. Now that all my PF deductions are deposited towards this Account for the last 3 years, which will now be difficult for me to claim it as PAN number & spelling error in my name.
Kindly advice me. more

On this matter I have already mentioned a few days ago the action to be initiated. You are being a retired person you can not be asked to run post to pillar. The system of EPFO should be conversant to all and it should work on its own once it gets complaint from the member. You may raise a complaint with EPFO and initiate action. Also you should take up the matter with ICICI bank too to comply the request. You may raise a complaint to their grievance Cell with a copy to RBI Department which controls and take action against defaulting bank. Thanking you, Rajagopalan.V more

HI, Primaily check and determine which UAN numbner is correct with all your personal data.(like DOB/fathername /Name) The question is your Name must tally with all following documents for UAN Name with Aadhaar/Name as per your Bank account/Name in your office records/Name in your PF records if all these names are similar then there is no problem in UAN. Other wise you have change it according to Aadhaar document. Once you identify the correct UAN then arrange for form 13 for transfer of UAN one to UAN two (this you can do it with the help of your existing employer) and continue with one UAN. In case if there is difference then give Joint Declaration Form with supporting docu. of evidence to the department. This will be cleared with in 20 to 30 days after two to three followups. Even if your employer is not helping you still you can correct these details thru an affidavit more

Thanks for your Positive feedbacks and response. Now i think i will need to contact my employer with filled up form 13 for transfer of UAN one to UAN two(which is correct with all my details of Bank Account, Adhaar card etc.) more

Pl send writen request for correction 9n fa acco7nt ehere pf has all along been deposited. I cannot be made to suffer for fault of others. If required, pl give an affidavit to both employer nd EPFO of which ever account PF has been depodited with written request to both to make necessary correction of unification. If required, EPFO can issue general public notice inviting objection against unification. Otherwise, file a complaint in Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum of yr District. Can seek further advice on this issue from mr or any other expert of yr choice more

Use latest UAN for PF contribution and update KYC through UAN portal that will automatically correct. For other corrections use correction form and submit along with documents attested by present employer. more
