Poorer than poor ... I wish there was a lower threshold to describe the situation on ground.
The public servants like policemen are always respected. However, at Tri Nagar main road (between Kanhaiya nagar and inder lok metro station) the business of four wheeler garage is flourishing, free of cost ( may be police men getting their share), affecting the common man and local residents; who many times do not find space to enter their streets. The local residents do not even have right to park their vehicles on the space, covered on nalah (Govt space for the residents only), as it is occupied by these business running goons; however, garage businessman are least bothered for the problems created by them for the people residing nearby........Any solution for that???
First the citizens are responsible to create the problem for others. In such a big populated city we should not blame the police.Heavy penalty should be imposed on the bad elements.
Law and order should come from citizens themselves. Once we start holding the police responsible for maintaining law and order, we have already conceded to fact that we ourselves cannot be disciplined. if we maintain civility and mutual respect, much of the law and order problems can be solved by themselves. Yes, police should be called in but only when it is to do with some anti-social elements but that is more of a crime domain rather than general law
and order.
