poorly managed, it seems they lack training & understanding and some times do not bother to a bit to improve on it, there is no will at the top that's why people working down under did not feel the pinch to do a bit, they get used to the chaotic condition they see daily

Very Poor on absolute scale. Average if compared to other cities because of -
1. Inadequate Manpower uniformly across the city.
2. Hardly any cameras for automatically registering the faults & helping in traffic management.
3. Brutal & Brazen drivers go scot free, while harmless ones are penalised.
4. Public sensitisation on safe driving is lacking.

However it is better than some cities.

very poor! no working on roadside parkings on main roads, no control on red lights, no management on bus drivers to stop bus on side they stop mid of the road

Majority of the time, the Traffic police is busy in collecting money rather then managing the traffic. In peak hours, they are putting traffic light control from auto to manual but it put entire traffic in messy condition. They clear one side traffic and hold other side traffic for long time without understanding what would be the impact on other side and other red lights.

I suggest Delhi Traffic police should go for proper traffic control training for better traffic control management.

One of two time, I saw traffic police man helping locals by helping then y pushing Dead cars.
Sometime, I also found that if Traffic police person there at red light, all the drivers trends to obey traffic light rule
