Faridabad Police

police need to be more people friendly. whatever authorities may say, police station try to avoid filing FIRs if you are robbed of purse, mobile or other valuables. they just give you a 'lost report' without noting anything in record. one can commonly see policemen sitting at encroachers rehris, dhabas eating which means they are hand in glove with people encroaching govt land.

Like everywhere else in the country, Faridabad police also does not have trust of people. People are still afraid to approach police for help. FIRs are not registered easily. People are discouraged, saying 'aapko court kacheri ke chakkar katne padenge' , jo nuksaan ho gaya to ho gaya, paise to wapas milne ka nahi', 'khali lost report le jao agar aapko proof chahiye to' 'aapko khayal rakhna chahiye tha' etc. Criminals dont fear police. Everyday cases of snatchings are reported without any relief.

There is no fear among snatchers in Faridabad. Snatching incidents are happening everyday and everywhere. If resisted, they even dont hesitate to attack or kill.
Traffic management is very very poor. No body checks or challans rule breakers, who drive without helmets, who break red lights at at high speed. One can see even traffic police staff driving without helmets.

I have experience only once and local Police was co-operative and quick to respond.

Its average and the police needs to be more proactive. Generally local people are very harsh on the outsiders.
