Area: Oil Mill Road, 13th Cross - There is no regular timing for these Garbage auto or the ladies pushing the carts or does not turn up some days. Moreover, they are arrogant! Doesn't wait for a min or goes to the main road and wait, people have to literally run to catch the auto (have seen elderly people struggling) to throw the garbage (more difficult for people living in the higher floors)...many times, we miss to throw, because by the time we go, he's gone! When we ask the next day, they respond very rudely that we should come fast! (Does he think that we have to wait for him near the gate always? in that case, can they maintain the time and regularity so that people can do that atleast? No, never by them!)
May be, this is one of the reasons why empty sites are getting filled with garbage!!
Suggestion would be to introduce the garbage bins (closed plastic bins) in different places and getting them cleared by the garbage truck/auto every day. Will BBMP do this?

Another point to be noted is that they "demand" money every month. If we delay (say we will give next day or after 2 days), they show their arrogance/abuses, use bad words behind our back and also do not cooperate to collect garbage from us (like not stopping near the house or rushing off quickly etc...).
When they are paid salary by the govt, why do they demand money from residents? Is it not a bribe?
Tried complaining to some supervisors near the area, but it's of no use!
This is also another reason for their arrogance, that no one can take action on them!
BBMP officers need to look at this and take appropriate action on these arrogant workers! and also improvise the garbage collection method.....

Garbage collector are visiting by auto tempo to our area and citizens are providing then separate wet and dry garbage as BBMP guided us, the citizens are paying all the taxes to ( central govt,state govt, BBMP ) but even after the garbage collectors demands bribe, if we refuse they shows arrogance and refuse to collect, the authorities should manage these hassel and should create mobile app like CRAMAT BRIBE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Garbage collection is not effective since we as citizens are not able to segregate and keep the garbage ready if and when the pick ups happen. Blaming the Govt or BBMP alone is not fair. The old system of designated bins at specified locations would be easier for collection. At present the defaulters drop garbage anywhere and everywhere. With designated Garbage bins, garbage will be restricted to specified points. It would be easier to collect it from those points. BBMP you may like to consider this proposal of re introducing the Big Garbage bins at specified points.

Proper Garbage collection is happening in our location on daily or alternate day basis.
