Ministry of Tourism

Indiatourism offices has become white elephant where officers are misusing govt. fund. No promotional activities takes place. It's a typical govt. office where everything occurs except tourism related work. High time to either shut down this office at Khasa Kothi or hand it over to professional who knows tourism.

I see no change in Tourism to our Great Country. The Ministry still does not answer its website contacts. I have been trying for years now to get a reply from them for my site.

Unless and until the inertia / ignorance and culture of corruption is change in our Government Departments then how are we really expected to change and grow??? The Government is quick to take taxes from people from petrol food banks and income but what do they really give back? We have a defunct tourism industry that is festering in corruption and ignorance and it is a crying shame because we have the most ancient, scientific, rich and vibrant culture that is simply being covered over by Tourism Ministry. They have the staff and the position but the leaders are holding them all back. Tourism should be the highest growth industry in our country with tourist based training for its workers on a national level that works hand in hand with the Archaeological Department and unfortunately it is such a terrible wasted opportunity for the future of our wonder country.

Two years passed, zero progress literally. Mr. Sharma please dont waste this opportunity

Again this ministry does not work but being ruled by the agencies and vested interest corruption is the route cause.
