even till today we do not have a proper tourism taxation policy, countries in south east asia review tax on tourism entities after 3 years unlike here in India it's revised each year, although large promises are made about T for Tourism, nothing has materialized.

First ovt. charges the Hotel with Service Tax Separately, a Transporter Separately, Airline Separately and when the Tour Operator packages it together again the service tax levied on top of them, i.e. Tax kay upar Tax.

We are not at all a Tourist Friendly Country, Visa Upon Arrival helps only the Back-Packers and not the real spenders.

The first look of any country matters more than any other facilities but we are in a habit of saying sorry to them at the time of leaving India. Delhi (Airport) - Agra corridor (could be special Air route) should be the focal point as most of the tourists join here to see this wonder of the earth.
