Mr Unni Krishnan is spot on. Its a very a pathetic condition. I am ashamed of calling this a State Capital. No toilets in any public places except as mentioned, that too almost unusable. By the time one comes out of the ones available in Rly stns or Bus stand, one will fall unconscious due to the unbearable stench. Just today I was the the Trivandrum District Court complex. I saw 2 gents' toilets and surely have taken photographs of those. They are an insult to the SWACHH BHARATH MISSION and TO THE COUNTRY. Piles of waste, mostly plastic, can be seen in many places in the complex. If only I could upload those photographs!!!!

There are no public toilets for men other than in railway stations or bus stands. Even these are not serviced properly. There are a few women friendly toilets placed in few areas, about which no comments have been heard. After staying for few months in USA and visits to Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand, I find no reason to even rate the Public Convenience in our country (It is practically non existent)
