doing well in our area Cana Bank Colony NGO Colony in garbage collection Iam President of Canara Bank Colony Welfare Association satisfied with garbage collection in our area I expect this type of work garbage cleaning in all area like bus stand , markets etc. but disposal of these garbage collected are not properly planned and big problem outskirts are dumped with garbages

Very true! There is no effective garbage disposal system in the city, and the Corporation has failed miserably on this score, resulting in clogged drains, and dumping of waste in any unused space, where mosquitoes breed profusely and the citizens suffer from all sorts of diseases. Since the city has now been selected to be one among the smart cities, the Corporation needs to prioritize on an effective waste management system.

Garbage management has become a big pain for the common household. Glass bottles,tube lights, plastic covers used for food grains, milk carton packets etc are difficult to dispose for years, The collection system is sporadic giving some hope for some time and despair most of the time. The persons who come and help to take wastes like plastics, card boards are not frequent and choosy depending on the person. The items like foam packing's, textile plastic covers over dress ready made materials, thin card boards and plastic clips, refills pens,fused bulbs are not at all collected. Sanitary napkins and such related items disposal is a nightmare. So we find clandestine garbage being disposed in empty streets collecting into big garbage heaps with little time elapsed. There is no explicit schemes announced, though the problems are being discussed profusely at various levels with no practical systematic converging solution in sight. You live as you can, be wise in the incoherent lot and think of God Who will protect you in God's own country is the right slogan.

Kitchen waste is not a waste and should be thrown in soil, it will decompose, As for plastic, Green Kerala Company is collecting plastic, all you have to do is collect them clean and give them to Nirmal units at East fort or near your area. Bottles, cardboards, newspapers etc can be sold to scrap dealers, do what you can and rest will follow
