Corruption
The practice of the Sub-registrar openly demanding and accepting bribe equal to the Registration Fees payable to the Government has been prevalent since times immemorial in Hyderabad. Otherwise, queries are raised which cannot be responded to suggesting to and prompting the Party who has to get the registration done to ask how much is to payable over and above the Registration Fee.
I know of similar demanding and accepting bribes directly or through a trusted intermediary like the I.T. Practitioner/CA, a Lawyer or a clerk or anyone skilled in the art required in the practice in Offices like Income Tax Office, Municipal Office.
I believe that technology can be used to record bribe-taking (which is invariably in cash) by the Government supplying free an App whereby the act of demanding/suggesting the offer of bribe is recorded with the video transmitted to the computer is ACB’s office. more

Corruption will stay in the country as long as we, the common men, proudly bribe them to get our own works by hook or crook and out of turn, our societies accept the bribe givers and takers with respects, the riches out of corruptions are given high respect and places in the societies without asking of their sources of becoming rich, our judiciary continue to go on turtles' speed in hearing the corruption cases, cases of corruptions and corrupts are made more & more transparent, the provisions for more & more stringent punishment for the corrupts and the bribers are made and given effect to, arrangements for continued mass canvassing against corruptions is made in every nooks & corners and the concerns (bribe givers & takers) are meted out with second class citizenship status by our societies, the menace already deep rooted, will continue unabated. more

May be you may think I am pessimistic. Yathaa raajaa thathaa prajaa. There is not way you can do away with corruption unless there is a total revolution in the entire political system, and the law system in the country. more

Easy money is root cause of all these things. Some want easy money and some want faster work. easy money helps both. The issue of habit of getting easy money troubles common man who is not in hurry but forced to pay. corruption is every where. The Idea of App is good fantasy. But who will cut the branch where they are sitting. Corruption is routine and established practice. Every one of us are knowingly or unknowingly are giving bribes and encouraging easy money. Like swatch bharat our habits need to change to eradicate corruption. Habits like the following need to change before we fight for corruption 1.. Jumping signal in traffic. 2. Driving in wrong side to save few yards distance. 3. Extra payment to gas delivery boy 4.Chillar (Change) to air filling boy at free air counters. This makes him to expect easy money from others too. When some does not pay he/she give funny look to them. 5 The rich , Who can afford , spoil the habits which in turn trouble others. 6 Entering reservation compartment with general ticket. 7 buying movie tickets out side. All these things may look like nothing but they help to inculcate habit of easy money or comfort. This way we are all corrupt. Why I develop an App to trouble my self. more
