Main factor responsible for this is fuel price in India,which is much much higher then in Europe or USA or many other Countries. If fuel price is brought on par with other countries, then probably fares may reduce. Even practically 99% expenses in Aviation is in US Dollar. more

I don’t believe this is the answer. It is just not fuel prices. There are other taxes also. The government should realise that it is nit just the rich who travel by air. more
