दिल्ली की झुग्गियों में और अनधिकृत कालोनियों में रहने वाले आधे से ज्यादा बच्चे आज भी खुले में शौच करते है. आज़ादी के 67 साल बाद भी देश की राजधानी में ये हाल वाकई में शर्मनाक है!

This was not a message of AAP It was a report of HT. To know what we propose to do we need to read the manifesto I quote the excerpts as 5. Sanitation and Waste Management More than 15 lakh people in Delhi do not have toilets in their homes; this is a cause of ill-health and insecurity, especially women. AAP is committed to building 2 lakh community and public toilets in Delhi. More than 40 lakh people in Delhi do not sewerage lines taking the waste-water from their homes to sewage treatment plants. AAP is committed to connecting all households to the sewage network, irrespective of whether they are in slums or unauthorised colonies. Small, decentralised sewage plants would be built, which would be managed by Mohalla Sabhas. Waste would be managed with the direct participation of people; there would be separation of bio-degradable and non-biodegradable waste at the household level and littering would be heavily fined. hope it clarifes more

But, were you not the initiator of this message from AAP, dear? And the AAP made zero promise about how to "solve the situation"......Is that why you are washing your hands off it? Sad, because what you need to do is, as AAP member, to push your party into finding a solution to the "task" and proclaim it publicly in their several get-togethers in Delhi........Avoiding facts never helps the cause..... more

Well Who cares for whom Slum residents are only treated as vote banks and forgotten for 5 years afterwards. I dont know whether i can post the promise of AAP here. more

My comment may sound somewhat "revolutionary", but do those people have any other option? HAS ANYONE PROMISED A CHANGE? The report in HT may mention "alarming statistics", but offers "no solution". The public does not need evasive"reminders on what is", but "realistic actions" to rid of the maladies.......Now, who will bell the cat, dears? more
