How your State Government might work?
Attached case study is from Karnataka and demonstrates how the Government procures everything at a much higher prices than market rates. There are 2 causes for this:
1) Inefficiency: Pay your suppliers late. They build the cost of capital in the price.
OR
2) Govt officials take cuts and hence cost increases. The tax payer pays.
I suggest you as a citizen discuss this in your state circles and ask Govt some questions. 90% of Indias states must be having this rut.
Lets talk and escalate and fix this. Otherwise middle class and rich will keep paying taxes through the nose and Govt employees will be misusing our monies.
If this doesnt motivate you to do anything, then u are in the wrong circle. more

I am a retired guy from Air India .I do not get Pension .I have ration card but since the same is not digitized I do not get Ration .I am from Kolkata 14.West Bengal. I shot a nasty mail to the Authorities and they came for inspection from Ration Office Beniapukur .I live in a joint Family and the Family living with me has Air Conditioner . I told them I am separate, I live in the back side .But the Officer insisted that I am using the same address and the Address shows one Air condition in a room and I was deprived of Ration Card ( Digitized) .But My area is full of Muslim community and I am minority in the area ,all Muslim community have three to five story house ,all have Air Condition and car and all draw ration from Ration shop the the present Ration given by center of standard quality or else the one which state gives the Muslim Community take it and feed their Goats and Cow and Poultry. What is this going on in Kolkata Park Circus Area . When will one nation one card will be applicable in West Bengal and how can I apply .Can anyone guide me. BJP govt month after month is reducing interest rate on FD looks like i and my family will end up dead as a beggar. INDIA IN NOT AMERICA ,HERE govt SOCIAL SERVICE IS NOT LIKE AMERICA ,SENIOR CITIZEN WITHOUT PENSION ARE NOT GIVEN JOBS NOR DO GOVT GIVE SENIOR CITIZEN PENSION. more

New line of corruption,,,, certify healthy person as coronovirus ,get him admitted , claim gov. grand , after two three days certify pt as recovered and release him This increases positive cases and increase fear more

Factually there is NO Differences. Factually, some of the Incidents like the same was can celled for name sake &/or Fresh quotations were called for. BUT IN GENERAL it is the prevailing practices . more

This cancerous disease is not confined to the Karnatka but the whole of India. Every institution is sunk in corruption. Large chunk of budget is suck by all the concerned persons right from Mantry to Santry. %age of distribution of bribe is fixed. More than 20 years back, a study was conducted in schools and the students were asked one question - what do you want to become in life. Majority of students replied "either MLA or contractor (supplier of services/materials). These 2 groups are richests ones in East India in connivance of Govt. officials. There is dire need to control corruption and population on war footing by amending the existing outdated and toothless anti corruption laws. more

Corruption begins at home ie with all of us. All of us think “ I am not corrupt but everybody else is”. The only way to deal with corruption is to take a good deep look at oneself and ask what role am I playing in corruption. When a goodly percentage of citizens are incorruptible, the society will move in that direction. Modelling incorruptible behaviour will put pressure on others to fall in line. People mostly imitate what they see others doing around them. India is a poor country where too many people are deprived of basic necessities. Economic development and fairness could lessen corruption as well. more
