Investigate mist canon machine purchases
We were all hoping BBMP is buying oximeters to measure oxygen & equipments such as oxygen concentrators, setting up Non-invasive ventilation like high flow oxygen. This would have increased pool of oxygen and ICU beds, % beds allotted to deserving persons with covid 19.
Instead, They have plans to procure as many as 27 mist cannon machines for Rs 14 cr (each costing ~Rs 53 lakh) how is this going to help in the ongoing pandemic situation? it is oxygen that saves lives, not mist.

Mr. Krishnsn , Anti-smog' mist cannon Machines,spray water in very fine jets in the air in city roads that have poor air quality . The particulate matter in the air settles down on the earh with the spray improving the air quality . Last season when the Delhi air quality was alrmingly poor ,Pulmanologists, Ent specialists and paediatritions complained about several cases of Severe Respiratory disordrs and syndromes causing several Deaths in Delhi. The spray will improve the air quality and Prevent the lung and Respiratory Problems . Incidentally this will prevent the number of co morbidity conditions (asthma, cough, cold , cough) . Mist cannon machine is a waste. It cannot stop the virus spreading if people do not take precautions. more

The persons who are able to decide on the purchase will surely benift. If I can make some gratification on the said purchase, why should I be worried about the tax paying public !!!? more
